These authentic Venetian Lanterns have become rare in recent years for lack of masterful artisans. Each specimen is manufactured entirely by means of manual processes. The wire is shaped, welded, and expertly assembled to form the frame of the lantern. Then the master glass-blowers blow the glass inside the frame, which is skillfully hand molded. Finally, the lantern is cooled and polished. All the lanterns have small irregularities that reflect their handcrafted origins and make each piece truly unique.

GLASS FINISHES - Our most popular glass finishes are Clear with Pattern or Amber Clear with Pattern which spray the light on the ceiling and around the room for a dramatic effect. Most styles are also available in a variety of custom colors, including Aquamarine, Merlot, and Green. The Amber Scavo and White Scavo finishes produce a softer light due to their textured surface.
